There were others who had worked on it. Two of them had worked on the Filmation series and had rebelled against the studio's model.

H-B actually wanted to make it like the original shorts, but you can thank the parental watchdog groups for ruining it for everyone. It's the main reason there were a lot of Scooby-Doo clones. They were safe and non-violent.
