There is no maybe about it.

I love this clip, Brady, nonchalantly heading to celebrate in front of the fans only to look up and realise he was about to be mobbed. He got some shock. What a player!

You've come a long way since then. Were you still playing at the Goldstone Ground then and was selling it and moving Whitdean one of the ways the club stayed in business? Amex stadium looks class, I haven't been in any of the aforementioned, but B&HA is a model club on many levels. Fair play...

You could be right. I was listening to RTE radio beforehand. There was a recorded interview with Conan and a live interview with Cullen. I know you need to be positive and confident, but I felt they disrespected Saints and were overconfident. Cullen was talking about being clinical at 20+ points up.

"We did more than any country, by far, in producing a victorious result on World War II..." 8.7m Russian soldiers dead, cities flattened in UK by Luftwaffe. Many cities destroyed on the Eastern and Western fronts by the retreating Wehrmacht. Millions dead, but yeah, the US did more. What a c*nt.

I have been critical of him, sometimes fairly, other times not. The last two summers, he's had to handle a lot. Players out, players in, players refusing to play. All done with calmness and calculation. He's moulded a good team and gained us a record point totalling promotion. He's going nowhere.

Take care. Sending thoughts to you on your loss of Pablo.

A superb display. 👏

Harsh... but true. I genuinely think there's a decent footballer in there, but he does the wrong thing too much. He holds on to it when he should pass it, passes it when he should hold on to it, and is far too weak in contact. You can't fault his effort, but we way overpaid for the player he is.

I thought they were well at it for the first 30-35 minutes. Only for a world-class save from Trafford, they would they have gone 2 up. Then he saved Burnley again at 1-1. That first save was crucial and proved to be the turning point.

The fact he's Irish makes it even more incredible. An historic moment.

Not that I'd ever hit it within an asses roar of the bunkers he's attempting to carry, but you'd think after the 1st, he would have tried to avoid aiming at them. Cost him 4 shots today.

I make it 7 points is the max we need, as we have +29 more goals than Sheff Utd in our GD column, and that won't be made up by them. The maximum number of points they can now get is 95. We'll need 4 points from 4 games if Burnley beat them on Easter Monday and 5 if that game ends in a draw.

A picture of health. 6' 4", as agile as cat and 90kgs.

"You don't have the option of going to a restaurant and ordering hormone free beef." Well... you do in markets that don't allow its sale. Same with chlorinated chicken. Food standards are important in some parts of the world.

Another incredible result! Well done all 👏

He was excellent when he came on. Did everything you'd want of your center-forward. Pressed well initially - before we decided to sit back - held it up well and scored a terrific goal that was incorrectly disallowed. We badly need him in the last 5 games in this type of form. We need his pressing.

He only flagged when they appealed.

I've been interested in baseball since watching movies like Field of Dreams and Major League.. in the late 80s/early 90s. I'm Irish and hadn't access to watch it, I always read about it and accessed highlights. Last year I've able to watch it live and it's superb. A memory you and he will treasure.

💯! it's always been a problem for me, too. From team selection to subs, subs more so last season.

Then, is it not down to the management? After Hull, we had a run of home games, Harrogate, Sheff Wed, and Norwich. Surely, that was the time to take Meslier out and give Darlow those games (he was gonna play cup game anyway)? Then at Burnley, he decides on who is no 1? Meslier confidence is gone now
comment in response to post
How do you make that out? He's positioned at his near post, the shot goes across him, within a very saveable range, and he doesn't keep it out. There are three mistakes right before it. Where Firpo throws it, Jospeh not controlling it, and Tanaka is not strong in tackle. But he still should save it.
comment in response to post
But he dropped a high ball, not for the 1st time this season, and conceded a goal at his near post, again, not for the 1st time... That's my point. I tweeted in August if we continue with Meslier, he'll cost us promotion. I sincerely hope that tweet is incorrect. However, he's already cost us 10 pts
comment in response to post
Saving the ball is his job. He saved a poorly taken penalty and made a couple of routine saves. I've been watching him for 6 seasons now, and he's particularly weak at his near post and on crosses (see yesterday). Hasn't improved at either. A keeper can have a poor game, no doubt, but not this many.
comment in response to post
I had the post ready... "Delighted for Meslier saving that penalty..." and then he does that. My God, one absolute howler and one howler. Low hard shot at near post and under crosses, he's abysmal, unfortunately. Wish you were right and I was wrong.

Farke's intransigence on the goalkeeping situation at the club is costing us. I make it now that we have dropped 8 pts as a direct result of goalkeeping errors. From game one, he's been making mistakes, and now, at the most vital time, he continues to do so. Two transfer windows and nothing done?
comment in response to post
Tanaka is a huge miss here. Nobody is getting on it and passing it simply. We are hurried, and even our first touch is off, more often than not. Need to sort it out quickly.
comment in response to post
No. I believe both Burnley and Sheff Utd will get more than 92 points, so we'll need more.

Unlucky not to come away with three points this evening. A very good away performance, with a brilliantly worked equaliser. On to Waterford and another sold-out home game.

The West is now controlled by neo-liberal capitalism, and politicians are bought and paid for. There is a new extreme version of this currently in operation in Washington, and its main funder is pushing for the same extreme and cruel policies in Western Europe. Specifically the UK and Germany.
comment in response to post
Something up, Farke doesn't rate, and/or like him. Same with Joffy. If you're not in his plans, that's it. Schmidt looks like a decent player, and we all know Joffy can come up with a vital goal at times... neither given a sniff by Farke when the opportunity to give them a sniff was there.

Brilliant! There are some very funny scenes in it.

I agree with the initial post and, stand by my assertion, that if we had Trafford or Cooper in goal, we'd be further ahead in the table. It's as simple as that. Meslier errors have directly led to us dropping, definitely 6 points, I would say 8. I don't disagree with what you say about Ampadu either
comment in response to post
Of course I'm blaming Meslier. They are mistakes he has made that have directly led to goals, and by extension, they have directly led to us dropping points. That's the harsh reality. Trafford has faced more shots and conceded fewer goals. Meslier is also weak under a high ball, and teams know it.
comment in response to post
We'll agree to disagree. It's 💯 a GK error, and our season has been littered with them. The original post is correct. If we had Trafford or Cooper in goal, we'd likely have an extra 8 points minimum. We are bottom of XG concession table, below Burnley, and yet we've conceded 14 more goals than them.
comment in response to post
How do you think it's a Tim Flowers-esque moment? I've watched it umpteen times, and it's an error. There is very little spin on the ball. It's a concentration issue. Same when he didn't save Pompey's first shot at ER , and when he just didn't tip the ball over the bar against Hull. There are more

Didn't do Gnoto much harm today. Arguably (he was for me), our best player in the second half. I definitely would have put Joseph on for the last 20, too.
comment in response to post
No. Our problem was at 10, and then when he made the change at 10, with a player capable of controlling the ball, linking the play and not running around like a headless chicken, we actually looked like winning the game. If he played Gnoto from the start, he may not have been as hard on himself.

Haha... very good.

You're right. Carley didn't even want to look at it, "The French player ends up on the Scottish player.." I'm paraphrasing. Other than the TMO, none of the officials seemed to think it even warranted a penalty. Even when they looked at it, it seemed a reluctant yellow. But the ambiguity exists.
