It's all a bit 'Windows in the West' today (except, in my case, it's more 'Sojourn in the South'). Avril Paton's 1993 watercolour, of 35 Saltoun Street on the corner of Roxburgh Street in Dowanhill, from her attic flat, in Athole Gardens, has become an icon of the city.

30 years ago this week we got an insight into the Gallagher sibling rivalry. Liam describing new song “Talk Tonight” as shit and won’t have it on an Oasis record (it didn’t until April 1995). Also talk of “Live By The Sea”, which we of course know as “(It’s Good) To Be Free”.
