Big thing that has changed since I regularly made the drive is extending 131 north a bit. Easier to get to 55. Traffic is just always gonna be an issue on 55 for me. I think there are more passing zones on 55 than there used to be, which also helps. But I always figured 8.5 +/- 15 minutes

8 is aggressive. Good weather and traffic was usually 8.5 for me. Maybe a little faster, but 4 in the lower and 4.5 with a gas/food stop at the bridge in the upper was pretty typical. But did I hear they raised the speed limit on the seney stretch?
