It's unfortunate. What you're looking at is a radicalized American. It doesn't bring me any joy either to see what our neighbors have become.

That this administration has to learn not to arrest high school kids going to volleyball practice I hope will change hearts and minds against this evil, volatile regime.

Hate it.

I agree! Except that Elon can do a lot of damage. Not just with his money and X, but his control over Skylink and critical satellite infrastructure.

If FIFA or the Olympics happen in the USA under Trump, I promise you ICE will raid hotels with international fans. Or even arrest them outside of stadiums.

He doesn't believe in democracy or Democrats' ideals. You don't go from MAGA to Democrat just because you had a falling out from Trump.

Trump makes the decisions. He's the President (of course). That's why Egypt is not on the list. That would make sense.

The attacker in the Boulder, CO event was from Egypt. So how do these bans stop the next terrorist from Egypt?

This is NOT ok. I know we're in the Trump era, and he doesn't care, but he's 78 years old and he'll be long gone in x years and we'll still be around dealing with this thing.

I still don't get people voting against themselves and their own well-being.

That's an insult to fascists.

They justify it because the bad guy won the election.

How about the USS Hershel Walker?

They're the released J6 people. And other deplorables.

I'm not a political strategist, but it seems to me the Democratic leaders and party need to make it fun again to be a Democrat. Constant engagement with an inspirational leader and a joyful campaign. Have events. Get a pro marketer and brander. Evoke emotions, not just facts.

I never was on board with the "Taco" thing. It's 7th grade nonsense. My preference is just saying Trump "comes to his senses" from time to time. He never learns, he just gets hit a reality bomb and even Donald Trump doesn't like egg on his face.

When they refer to "1932" the mean Germany under Hitler, not the USA under FDR.

Elon doesn't decide that. He certainly didn't decide the Wisconsin Supreme Court election.

It's run like a business, alright. Like the Mafia.

No, but that's not the goal. ICE's morale is low, but they make up for it by hurting other people. By getting "revenge".

It's hard to think of a more corrupt Trump lackey than Clarence Thomas.

A 36-point swing is a LOT. How did Trump get 45% here anyway?

You don't fire a coach that makes it to the NBA Quarterfinals. Jeez!

I never understood the demographics who voted against themselves in the Trump era. What were you thinking when he openly insulted you? That its just politics??

You can't be "meaner" than Trump. Now you can be STRONG but compassionate. You can be SMART and have a sharp tongue when you're wronged. And you can be RIGHT, and make it obvious that the other guy is wrong. See Barack Obama and Bill Clinton.

That depends on the political affiliation of the kidnapper.

I would think that if you're in charge of the country now, the "blame" falls on the person in charge now.

What a great campaign slogan. "Vote for me and we'll die "

Give it up. They made it all up, so you're not gonna find any.

Tearing up DC is the goal. Imagine DC in 2029 January. A war zone.

This is what the transition from democracy to fascism looks like. 2025 is the most dangerous year in the US since at least WWII or maybe even the Civil War.

Yes. And while many Presidents have had "character flaws", we really haven't had one this flawed ever. Worse than Nixon.

When you vote for an arsonist, don't be surprised when he burns down YOUR house.

If someone you dislike gets diagnosed with cancer or dies, you don't say anything. If Trump were to get a life-threatening diagnosis tomorrow, I would not say anything. If he died, I'd say a lot.

There is a cure. Trump disappears from the Earth.

I tried my first Bidet in 2025 and it was quite an experience. It's like getting "broken in".

His answer is going to be "That's what 77 million Americans voted for". He's not going to cite articles in the Constitution because that's not how Nazis roll.

A 7-2 ruling means even a liberal Justice and moderate right Justices Roberts and ACB agreed with the government. It's not just the corrupt Justices. I just don't see the upside for myself with mass deportations.

I like Hoyer, too, but the challenger is not wrong. The Dems have lost 3 seats in the House this year because their members aged out and died in office. And look at the Joe Biden and RBG fiasco. We need to think about the long game and groom new talent to take on Trumpism.

Don't bother. My hope is that Trump gets overloaded with court losses and fails.

It's interesting they chose the 80s (Reagan years) and not the 90s (Clinton years). Maybe to contrast what it meant to trade as a "conservative "?

So, the propaganda that immigrants are causing most of the crime in the US is so entrenched that they aim to prove that 4-year-old migrants are future criminals. I don't trust this thinking. Next up: get DNA of all black American babies and put THEM in the criminal database. Then later, arrest them

So in 2025, food safety is a political issue. One party believes in it, another doesn't. And the party that doesn't is in charge. And that's a recipe for one crisis and disaster after another.

Again, Gretchen Whitmer proves that she's not fit to lead the party on a national scale. I like her, but she should have the good sense not to mooch to Trump or believe his promises.

We know why she's doing this. She wants judicial nominees that are loyal to Trump, not the law. And ABA will only recommend accredited judges who will follow the law.
