Are you planning to use them as fodder for TOTS or sell back when prices rise? Just wondering the strategy, as I also have a lot 86-88.

Came here to write the same thing. "Deeply Concerning" is the new "Thoughts and Prayers". It does nothing to change the reality. How about "We are going to fight for the return of our student. We are going to challenge this kidnapping as far as we need to, until they're freed".

Dear Def Leopard, They've poured some sugar on me, and it kicked me out of ketosis. Would not recommend.

I'm not surprised, but very disappointed in seeing the rhetoric spewed leading up to this election. A lot of it mirrors the "immigration concerns" of the US election. Including, calling the Canadian born, elected leader of the NDP an immigrant, because he is of the Sikh faith. It's sickening.

We need a John Scott to pull Kessel out of him

Never thought I'd say this, but Trump's rhetoric is our only hope for the correct path forward. It's incredible how many people will cut off their nose to spite their face. You ask them which policies they don't like? There is none. Progress for most is perceived as an attack on the "old values".

Apropos of nothing, and I admittedly lean left, but I can't understand why any Canadian watching this would vote for the alternative. The ad is not harsh or vile and has a bit of tongue in cheek humour. The other side just seems angry at everything.

A fan base that expects their best, highest paid, members of the leadership group to consistently produce enough points to help the team win games IS a ridiculous ask. As long as they're playing good enough defensively to help the team lose 5 out of 6 games, the fans should be rejoicing, right?

Matthews absolutely needs to break open a few games. Unless he's in his Fedorov/Yzerman era, he goes *several* games without a dazzling play. Listening to the Avs crowd light up the other night whenever MacKinnon got the puck, the Leafs need their best players to do the same consistently.

Media, in their quest to "be fair", allows rhetoric to be spewed uncontested. The Conservative/Republican/Right Wing convinced the public that the media is left biased and any negative coverage of their policies is fake news. We're about to see (and have been seeing) the same thing in Canada.

Also, don't compare our politeness to YOUR (USA) weakness. #ElbowsUp

I literally did this 3 weeks ago when bringing my son to the New England area for recruiting at Philips Exeter, Loomis and Suffield. We passed US Customs and Immigration in Toronto, not Boston.

After campaigning on "We'll do everything to fight for the American people", then losing the election..... Kamala and Tim just kind of disappeared. There's VERY little Demographic direction or pushback to anything that happening. It almost feels like "you voted for them, so deal with it".

Slight error... SJS played the Blues in the Western Conference finals, not the Stanley Cup Finals.

99 is such an ambassador for Canada that he can't even make a positive public statement for himself. He needs his friend Premier Trump to speak on his behalf.

The literal US Government is a tremendous vulnerability. The American people don't have the will, not stomach to defend half a century of policies. Bannon should worry about that first.... Except that he's a part of its dismantling.

Well you just gained another, my friend.

How the fuck is there no follow up to that comment? You went on TV to beg the president to come to your game then he told you he was going to annex your opponent's country on a pre-game call. Hockey media is absolutely failing so hard right now.

It's a fuck you to the Canadian fans. You can't tell me that these guys don't know how the nation feels right now. They know why the anthem was boo'ed. The other side is proud of their nation and their President, regardless. Our side? They're happy to be there. Good ole boys.
comment in response to post
The coach and players of the American team are encouraging their President to disrespect our Sovereignty, and the office of our Prime Minister. Fuck you and your championship game.

Does the NHL not think that there are Canadian players who are proud of their home country? The boldest move would be for the Canadian team to boycott the game tonight. Fuck em. I promise this wouldn't stand for any other country. Why do Canadians need to play nice?
comment in response to post
I'm doing the same. In the grand scheme I'm sure not many care. I hate feeling like I've been bullied out of watching what was billed as a fun event. But it's disgusting that no one from the NHL or The American Team is speaking out against this rhetoric.

Lebron James speaks out during the 2020 riots = shut up and dribble Colin Kaepernick kneels during the anthem = keep politics out of sports Bill Guerin says the US president threatening its sovereign neighbour is inspiring = LET'S INVITE HIM TO THE GAME It's all so disheartening.

I felt this way during the protests in 2020. I felt this way when pride nights are removed. Hockey will continue to show you what it really stands for. Elitists. Full stop. I love the game. I hate the sport.
comment in response to post
It's so fuckin tough man. I love this sport. I hate the reality of what it represents. I've played, coached and volunteered for years in my local executive. How can I consciously support this sport? I'm speaking into an abyss, and I get it "don't let the door hit you on the way out"... But it's sad

This is why the All-star game (in all leagues) should be during the pre-season. Watching pre-season games and most players are going all out, as they tune up for the regular season. The players selected as first, second (and third) all-stars play exhibition games.
comment in response to post
I'll take that, and legit have no retort.

What bothers me the most (not that anyone needs to care), is how silent the opposition is. Everything happening now, runs contrary to the Democratic platform. They've lost the senate, the house and of course the presidency. That should never mean that they've lost the will to fight. It's sickening.
comment in response to post
There's zero coverage of the protests, and what has happened in the past few weeks is painted matter of factly, by legacy media. Social media giants have either cowered or joined the NWO (shout out to the wolf pack). People don't seem to care, because they're being told not to care.
