Tonight's read: Brat Pack #2 (King Hell). Goddamn this cover is just vile. Unfortunately I'll need to finish reading it tomorrow night because I'm exhausted, but the first half was (unsurprisingly) fucked up. #bratpack #kinghell #rickveitch

Tonight's read: Dalgoda #5 (Fantagraphics Books) from The Dalgoda Omnibus (About Comics). I think we've finally cracked what's up with Victor's drunken stupors. I liked that a story beat was based on an electric shaver shorting out, leaving Posey's face half shaved. #dalgoda @aboutcomics.com

Today's read: Dalgoda #4 (Fantagraphics Books) from The Dalgoda Omnibus (About Comics). This island native chick has the hots for Dal. @aboutcomics.com @fantagraphics.bsky.social #dalgoda

Today's haul (1/3): another day of insane finds. Highlights: Bone Saw (been hunting this purely for the @jcalafiore.bsky.social story), Taboo Volume 9 (two @philhester.bsky.social stories), Poison Elves Volume 1: Requiem For An Elf (reprinting the Mulehide Comics issues #1-6). And many $1 comics!

Today's gift: Concrete Cold Cast Porcelain Limited Edition Assembly Kit (056/500), from my wife. Totally awestruck as it was a complete surprise and I don't think I knew this even existed. Blown away. Concrete is my absolute favorite comic. #concrete @paulchadwick.bsky.social #darkhorsecomics

Today's haul: truly insane finds at Comically Speaking in Reading, MA. Andromeda #3-6, Xino, Fever Dreams, DESTROY!!, Cerebus Jam, Swords Of Cerebus Volume 1, Prince Valiant Book 1, and... drum roll... Love and Rockets #1! Collecting comics rules.

Tonight's read: Cheval Noir #35 (Dark Horse Comics). Pretty sure I spotted Tintin in the first panel of this "The Man from the Ciguri" story by Moebius. #chevalnoir #moebius #tintin @darkhorse.com

Tonight's read: Howard the Duck #5 (Marvel Comics) from The Complete Collection Volume 1. While the wrestling match is on the cover, it's not very prominent in the story. More important was Howard beating up Gonzo the clown! #howardtheduck

Tonight's game: Dragonbane. I was Makander of Halfbay. It was fun! #dragonbane

Tonight's read: finishing out Aliens: Music of the Spears from the Aliens Omnibus Volume 4 (Dark Horse Comics). All these stories with people taking Alien jelly as a drug are whacky and insane and I love it. Just look at this panel of the vocalist of an all android metal band! @darkhorse.com #aliens

Today's read: Dalgoda #3 (Fantagraphics Books) from The Dalgoda Omnibus (About Comics). This issue was really goofy and it was great. #dalgoda @aboutcomics.com @fantagraphics.bsky.social

This morning's read: finishing out The Cerebus Cover Art Treasury with issues #201-300. The covers to Guys and Rick's Story are phenomenal, but I like this one from the start of Latter Days best. Mostly because the issue is pretty fun! Followed by intensely boring drivel. #cerebus

Today's reads (1/3): Dalgoda #2 from The Dalgoda Omnibus (About Comics). In addition to the war between the Canidans and Nimps, now we've got carnivorous plants that like to strangle dogs. @aboutcomics.com #dalgoda

Today's read: The Cerebus Cover Art Treasury (IDW Publishing), covers #139-200 for Melmoth and Mothers & Daughters. The finale of Melmoth, #150, is the start of Dave Sim and Gerhard illustrating blood in a way that I've never seen appear more harsh and brutal. @moment-of-cerebus.bsky.social #cerebus

This morning's read: Dalgoda #1 (Fantagraphics Books) from the Dalgoda Omnibus (About Comics). So absolutely rad. This comic literally checks every box when it comes to my particular taste. #dalgoda @aboutcomics.com @fantagraphics.bsky.social

Tonight's read: Caliber Presents: Romantic Tales (Caliber Comics). What better time to break out this "Princess Leah" story than Valentine's Day. This back cover illustration is wild. #calibercomics

Tonight's read: Poison Elves #39 (Sirius Entertainment). The end of Sanctuary! I only got about halfway through this and my head started bobbing so I have to put it down for the night. I'm exhausted and there's far too many paragraphs of text. #poisonelves #siriusentertainment

Tonight's read: Poison Elves #38 (Sirius Entertainment). The penultimate issue of the Sanctuary storyline! I'll probably take a break from PW after that. My collection still has holes post issue #42 anyway. #poisonelves #siriusentertainment

Tonight's read: Howard the Duck #4 (Marvel Comics), from Volume 1 of The Complete Collection. Steve Gerber really was the best. This is gonna be goofy as shit and I'm gonna love it. #howardtheduck #stevegerber

Tonight's read: ElfQuest: Siege at Blue Mountain #3 (Apple Comics). This cover rules. Winnowill's hand with red nails in particular is so rad. #elfquest @elfquest.bsky.social

Tonight's read: Poison Elves #37 (Sirius Entertainment). This Dawn parody with the Purple Marauder on the back is great. Glad my flu symptoms have subsided enough to get back to regular reading. #poisonelves #siriusentertainment

Tonight's read: #114-138, Jaka's Story + epilogue, from the Cerebus Cover Art Treasury. There's really nothing better than Dave + Gerhard drawing shadowed texture of stone and wood houses. Too many to pick from, but #117 is probably my favorite. #cerebus @moment-of-cerebus.bsky.social

Today's haul: The Dalgoda Omnibus (About Comics). Been wanting to check out this comic, and then just yesterday @paulchadwick.bsky.social reposted from @nat.gertler.com that it was available, and now I have it! Looking forward to this. #dalgoda #aboutcomics @aboutcomics.com

Tonight's read: continuing the Cerebus Cover Art Treasury with #77-112/113, closing out Church & State + epilogue. Always enjoyed the typography heavy cover to #102, and the new logo starting on #101 is a welcomed change. @moment-of-cerebus.bsky.social #cerebus
