Yes, that's how politics work. Useful dose of reality for Reform. Easy to shout from the sidelines, more difficult to govern effectively.

Agreed. And it will be detail that distinguishes Labour from Reform's easy sloganising. I want to see more attention to detail in communicating policy. And make it into an interesting story rather than dry facts.

Yes, I have to confess I'm disappointed that Labour's messaging has not been as effective as it needs to be. They seem unable to get off the back foot. I worry that delivery will not be enough. Unless people can feel better, any improvement to their lives may not be acknowledged as success.

Yes, issues are always far more nuanced than may first appear. The challenge for the Govt. apart from the issue itself is to find a convincing narrative to explain the nuances. Easy for Reform et al to sloganise, harder for Govt. to communicate detailed policy.

Yes it's important to acknowledge the grievances of those voting Reform have. The Government also needs to give the electorate a convincing story to shape a vision for the future, which has to be different from what Reform offer. It starts with listening then making themselves heard.

It's becoming clearer by the day, USA is currently an unreliable ally to anyone but Russia.

Yes, it's no longer the land of the free and the home of the brave, if it ever was. Unreliable as an ally while the current regime is in power.

I keep coming back to the same thought, it's time to make America irrelevant to all of us in Europe.

The only 'special relationship' Trump has is with himself. The 'writing on the wall' is becoming clearer by the day. Hope KS can be as assertive as Carney.

Yes, be careful USA. Europe (and others no doubt) may be about to make a virtue out of the necessity to Make America Irrelevant Now. And it's not just about defence. USA at the moment just can't be trusted.

Hi from UK. It's not just about not travelling to USA I sense a growing desire to have as little to do with USA as possible. Make America Irrelevant sounds better than MAGA.
