Back in 1991, far-right republicans claimed Democrats wanted a standardized driver’s license to track citizens for the “new world order” The REAL ID act was similarly accused of violating citizens rights. Under Obama, Tea Party claimed it was “a global surveillance” tool Now they’ve embraced it.

If El Salvador is holding US persons in prison without charge, it has violated the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. The attorneys should file a complaint, called “communications” with the UN Human Rights Committee. The US is not a voting member of the committee.

DOGE thinks shutting down Medicaid will “save money”. Under federal law, public hospitals must treat all patients without regard to ability to pay. DOGE’s moves means more than $80 Billion in annual losses to insurers as a result. This won’t make UHC and Humana happy.

As a construction professional, it takes 3 to 5 years to build a manufacturing facility. That's after AHJ approval which can take up to 2 years. Get ready for 10 years of hell. This man is not a builder, he's a moron. BTW, I've been in construction for 58 years.

The question regarding “election security” that I have is Republicans have created a high-cost solution in want of a problem. But they did not address the cure, which should make this unconstitutional. At a minimum, expand Real ID to show citizenship, and cover the costs for everyone to comply.

One of Biden’s moves to help Americans was to negotiate a cap on respiratory inhalants used to control severe asthma. This isn’t rescue (steroidal) inhalers, but daily meds. They were capped at $50. Trump has removed the cap, insurance companies have dropped coverage so it’s now $300+.

A point to Ric Grenell and his battle against the arts. As. gay man, he should keep in mind the Nazis arrested 100,000 gay men and imprisoned them. 15,000 were sent to concentration camps. Russia, Hungary, Iran, Egypt, all incarcerate or ignore murders of gay men. El Salvador does too.
