Also, no fire hydrant system is designed to support all the hydrants in the entire neighborhood being used simultaneously for 14 hours. No fault of the system or designers. Just one more aspect of how these fires were completely overwhelming and unstoppable. Politicizing such disaster is pure evil.

I'm a Democrat & u should stop w/ this misleading 🐂💩 story. UR proposing taxes on unrealized gains. If ur home value went up u would have to pay tax even tho u might not have enuf income 2 pay. It would be terrible for the economy by forcing people to fire sale assets 2 pay taxes. Very bad idea!

True, but in practice, the two are almost undistinguishable from the point of view of the people living under the systems. It doesn't really matter if it's communism or fascism, both are authoritarian police states and that's what really matters.
