I'm far from an expert and it's not appropriate for every style of cooking, but when using white meat cuts such as breasts, look up the Chinese technique of "velveting". I learned it last year and has helped me make stirfrys and noodle dishes with much more moist chicken. Easy peasey as well.

Is there still a question if the American military will gladly open fire on the people?

Massachusetts, Connecticut, Colorado (possibly a few others) are also more Dem in terms of population percentage. But as I said, no state occupies real estate in the American mind like California.

Well, California is not the most Dem state, big swaths of GOP in it. New Mexico is far more dem, and majority Hispanic. So I can only think that Cali got picked because of fame, size -both physically and culturally, and the idiotic prejudices a lot of Americans have towards Cali.

This seems both desperate and a big risk. They could have started something like this in a state or area more supportive of the admin to get the ball rolling and get people used to it. California is a huge economy and strong enough to push back HARD in a lot of ways. They're gonna regret it I think

Bad analogy. Both Godzilla and Mothra have some acts of goodness on the rap sheet.

I would love to hear you expand on this. What are the four flavors, countries, etc. A broad experience shouldn't be hampered by post length.

We're all watching nervously from this side of the Prut. Hai Romania, indeed.

As a USA-ian living in East Europe for the better part of 20 years, our casual politeness gets me a lot of "feedback". I always say, think I'm bad? You've never met my old neighbors. Canadian politeness is a cultural credit and treasure. Y'all can be AH's like anyone, but the majority are great.

Romanian diaspora vote was crazy in 1st round. Rep Moldova diaspora overwhelming pro EU, West Europe diaspora overwhelming anti EU candidate. Hopefully it woke up the pro EU lazies over there to get off their asses

And the sad/comical thing about UK racism is it's gone so far, it's not just about brown people anymore. It's gone so far around the bend it hates other white people. Brexit was, at least in part, how much the UK can hate Romanians and Bulgarians.

"They say I bankrupted a casino, and you know what maybe I did, but then the most beautiful thing happened. I stopped losing money. Nobody was walking out with my fifteen dollars any more. All those people walking past my casino, and none of them are winning. That makes them losers."

But could some of it just be a protest vote, that could come correct in the second round? I never planned to have to follow RO politics as closely as I have had to, but my (limited) understanding is that people are very tired of the 2 main parties and their corruption.

What blows my mind are the voting patterns outside RO. In Moldova (which could be argued to have more susceptibility to ru propaganda) Dan wins handily. Romanian diaspora in Western Europe votes for the anti-EU fascist. Nobody makes sense anymore.

Or realize you're in a new America and buy them hunter's safety courses. Hopefully they won't need to pick up a gun, but..Y'know...The skill to hunt or defend their post apocalyptic tribe is a gift that could keep on giving.

Had a straight white CIS male friend who got breast cancer when we were in our late 20's. I get certain cancers affect certain populations with more likelihood, but at the end of the day, like everything, there is no 'one size' fits all people. Cancer should never be used to make any point but care

White voters are why we have a dictatorship. White voters have voted for white supremacy since the voting rights act was passed in 1965. White voters are the ONLLY demo to do this in every election. Those are the facts. That's reality.

No one should underestimate the potential fallout from this debacle. The security and defence institutions of every US ally and partner will be on red alert today trying to figure out what our adversaries - not just Russia and China - could know. And what to do about it. This is monumental.
