After I read Evelyn, all Turton books were immediately wishlisted 👌

Thanks man. Different is good. I read Martyr! by Kaveh Akbar and that was different but awesome also

Yeah I get that. It really isn't for everyone. But if you like it you love it.

It's a trap! I once followed a road sign which said "Ulan Bataar 979 miles" as vs the one that pointed in another direction and said "Ulan Bataar 1168 miles". The logical answer is never the best, I got very very lost.

Adding to wishlist. Having followed your lead on Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, I am trusting your judgment 👌

For me Tielemans all day long. Stepped up hugely this season, and seemed to be able to be combative, visionary and hyper fit for 95% of the season. Controlled the tempo of our whole season. V impressed.

I should probably note it's absolutely grim, body horror wise.

Agree. I think it looked stunning and was super atmospheric, if a touch repetitive and limited combat wise.

Did you mean to type "used" or is this a policy thing?

I enjoyed it and I'd say worth a watch. 90 minute runtime, so not a huge commitment, and it's one of those movies that drops into someone's life and meanders about a bit. I like those!

I watched it trying to imagine how it must feel, for the leader of a country ravaged by war to be belittled, bullied and patronised on that level. He must have been just so so so close to just swinging at him.

Yeah, by the time I've finished Avowed, and Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, KCD2 will probably be down to a fiver 🤣

Exactly that. A no risk tryout, and I've found a game with good combat, nice looking, and just a pretty chill world to explore; with systems you'd want in an RPG, but that are not prohibitively deep for the gamer dad to get involved with. ✅

Well bloody hell, I didn't know these existed. And yet they are amazing.
