I started it about a year ago but then I procrastinated for months and months because I didn't really know how to draw backgrounds... but I think I did a good job and I learned a lot!!! It's not perfect but I'm happy with how it came out :)

fun fact: my oc Cobalt is female, but the original in-game Cobalt that i caught in pokemon shield was male! i had predicted the gender wrong when i started making the oc while i was shiny hunting. so its okay that the one in go was male, i'll still name him that
