+they liked it but it was basically all the same tropes rewritten again. So wasn’t as well received but they still enjoyed it. What I’m trying to say is, they are indeed very similar in humor and plot tropes. But don’t watch nozaki kun first. Raises the bar too high I guess 😭

No I actually had an experience with this. I was showing some friends nozaki kun and we watched it all in one go. They enjoyed it so much. And I was gonna pack it up but I saw that the first episode just uploaded (and I’ve read the manga) so I recommended them to watch it. +
