I worried for Starmer this morning. But as usual he has it covered and then some. I’ve said it before he’s a great PM and totally underestimated. I should have saved myself the worry.

I loved that answer

Boom.

America will have to live with the shame of what's happening here for years. www.wsj.com/world/europe...

Aaaand… here’s what you COULD have won!

My post did not age well. Turns out Britain Trump was far less right about Trump.

Anyone else feeling more than a little uneasy?

Better

She won't be there long. Let's hope what comes is as pointless as she is.

Ban #Trump from flying here

Excellent tune given the subject is a challenge. Well done, Mark. I am always amazed at the talent around.

Guys, Trump's offer to Putin is not a terrible deal *if he's on Putin's side*. That really does feel like the key thing to recognise.

The hidden-away bill charting a course back to Europe: No-one wants you to look at the product safety and metrology bill and there's a really good reason for that iandunt.substack.com/p/the-hidden...

Really robust and no-nonsense from Starmer.

And yet no one is making a fuss.

I hate Putin with every single fibre of my being but I'll give him this... he's a million times smarter and wilier than Trump and his entire administration put together. And there's your problem world - right there.

The #reform thing is nothing but a grift from #Fagash. The problem is the tsunami of RW lies, disinformation, and outrageous smears, I mean, they have tried pretty much everything, and it is destroyed as soon as a decent journo scratches the surface. We must hold them to account ourselves.

When she says "don't feel like Britain" it's not so much a dog whistle as a foghorn

Unforgivable it would also help net migration.

Brexit was a con. Sold on a pack of lies by fantasists, ladybird libertarians, chancers, xenophobes and spivs. On this day of all days we should take a moment to remind everyone of that.

So it turns out a certain President Donald Trump initiated a diversity program at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in 2019. But why let the truth get in the way of politically convenient lie?

Fighting for my life to get a full sentence out with Nick Ferrari on LBC just now. We have to be realistic about safe routes: It’s a small number of people trying to come here & we desperately need people, too. youtube.com/shorts/M1OVO...

Five years on, the calamity of Brexit leaves us isolated The glorious vision Brexiteers sold of Britannia in 2016 has failed to materialise www.theneweuropean.co.uk/five-years-o...

So fun to share the “bill” with loads of other great acts including satire buddies @explodingheads.bsky.social @rosieisaholt.bsky.social and @larryandpaul.bsky.social! You can listen again on BBC Sounds.

Today marks 5 years since Brexit, with the UK officially leaving the EU on January 31, 2020. Boris Johnson declared it a "dawn of a new era." He was right, in a way. Though perhaps "permanent dusk" would be more accurate.

Just when you think Donald Trump cannot get any lower he finds any entirely new level - using the deaths of 67 people to try & enhance his own political popularity. Sad thing is that a lot of his #MAGA base will lap this crap up #PlaneCrash #FAA #PotomacRiver

Happy 5th anniversary of Brexit! What a farce.

"I have a unicorn to sell you". #Brexshit

This is WAY beyond crass.

Why does the #EU continue to tolerate the presence of #Orban, the Putin fanboy and anti-democrat who rejects the universal values of a more tolerant and freedom loving Europe? There should be a mechanism to suspend or eject member countries that seek to sow discord or even the overthrow of the EU

Sell your Tesla. ❌ Sell your Cybertruck. ❌ Get off Twitter. ❌ Don’t sign up for Starlink. ❌ Bankrupt him. It will take while but it’s possible. ✊🏻 #resist

watching Sunday morning TV political panels: Badenoch inaccurately yet again talks about cultures of rape, links it to people from Pakistan, and all the political panel had to say is it is “outspoken” and “uncomfortable for some people” Inaccurate and Islamophobic are the words you were looking for.

Wes Streeting, "I don't want people to think that we've made some unpopular decisions by accident, that we didn't think about it, that we were careless. Quite the opposite" Labour could have taxed the rich to fund the black hole, but they chose unpopular decisions instead 🤷‍♂️

If you’ve got the personality of a tennis racquet, the morals of a skid mark, and the political track record that would have Richard Nixon salivating… then you’re almost overqualified to write for the Telegraph Simon Case ladies and gentlemen 🤷‍♂️
