Exactly this. I work with a lot of people on a weekly basis. I like to know how they want to be addressed. I do not care about their identity, I just want to not needlessly offend them or to cause confusion. Pronouns in e-mail made life EASIER.

I stopped taking fashion seriously when I realized that I would tell people that if they're just looking for quality, they should spend 1/5th the price on the SAME exact item in the SAME room, and no, they would not. They wanted that label. The label, not the quality, was the entire thing.

Brown-bag lunch was super, super common a few decades ago. Because we took our lunch to work in brown bags. I don't even think I could estimate the number of times I've heard that phrase in person. Definitely hundreds, potentially many thousands.

The biggest monster of a human being I know, who is now justifiably in prison for a long time, was the most affable, likeable, and "nice" guy I'd met. Until you had something he wanted or he felt like you had insulted him.
The whole hurting animals and kids as a kid thing was a giveaway.
