I say happy holidays for a couple of reasons. 1 It covers all holidays in one very efficiently. 2 As someone who doesn't sub to a religion, I have no problem with letting Christians have Christmas. But I know better than to believe everyone who celebrates Christmas is Christian.

Anytime anyone approaches me wanting $5, $10, $20, or whatever, I ask them what they need the money for (because I don't carry cash on me). If they want some food, some gas money, a bus ticket, or something like that, I'll just buy it for them. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
