No! In fact, Ultima III runs in both monochrome high-res (640x400) with assets to match, as well as color low-res (320x300 16-colors). I rebooted the system during the photo capture (to make it easy and not have to touch the camera (phone), I took a video and pulled two frames and merged them).

Awesome. I want one of these so badly for my A1000. I would absolutely add a video card and a second monitor to it - maybe mono Hercules.

I had no idea the Mac II (and IIx) required a FPU to boot the OS. I know none of the LCs do. Not sure about the IIcx, IIci. Seems an odd move by Apple.
