Its much worse and sad - because if you try to help him - he either yells at you for being condescending or shits on the "youth of america" as a bunch of lazy leeches. So, he sits alone while young promising people get laid off and they send services to other global cheaper locations.

As they should, COMNEBOL has significantly more to gain. Should be a collective effort haha. And the best result for the world of soccer, imo.

I'd add, imo, that UEFA rightfully deserves to just participate. They carry much of the torch, and will continue to do so. No better product than what's coming out of Europe and UCL. Good for them to be willing to dump another handful of matches on their players for the sanctity of the sport/event.

Exactly, that's why Flamengo is looking to win while Chelsea may be looking for other results. Of course Chelsea prefers to win, and I don't doubt that. But to me, the entire event, hardly means anything much about competitive status. Now after group stages, then it could be fun. We will see.

If Flmengo moves on, then it's a significant pay day and worth the effort. Chelsea made well over $65M last year for finishing 4th on PL. And doesn't include other prize money and revenues. More lucrative for them to put in their paces for the upcoming PL and UCl than CWC.

PL teams, are in preseason mode. Plenty of money at stake sure, but Chelsea likely puts down $25M minimum for showing up and getting play competitive matches with new transfers. Flamengo is set to make more for simple participation, $15M, than their entire national league winner prize.

Meh, I'm used to it ha. And to be fair to her, she's willing to take the heat back. But fortunately for me my partner and her sister are willing to do the more difficult work.

Really quite sobering, and especially because it was Clay Travis racist wet dream which likely inspired activity. Bid is getting closer to zero, imo.

Smells Like Stagflation: Growth this year downgraded to 1.4% from 1.7%, inflation up to 3.1 in Core PCE and 3% in PCE while unemployment will move higher to 4.5%. Median dot plot implies two cuts this year and two in 2026. #Econ #EconSky

Love it ha. Got to agree with mango - also great in it many forms of dried, frozen, fresh, etc. Always love killing a LB of Cherries when in season. Would personally put figs much further up, especially Calimyrna, which tend to be less sugar forward and when dried are all-timer.
