I never used to "like" videos on YouTube despite it being one of my most watched platforms and now that I have content on YouTube and I see how important those likes are I now feel like I need to personally apologize to all the creators I've unintentionally snubbed over the years

After Jordan Peele and Josh Ruben, who will be next in the improv-and-sketch-comedy-performer-to-horror-director pipeline?

The word "Pennsylvania" has completely lost all meaning. Listen to our #podcast episode on the movie Groundhog Day now! player.captivate.fm/episode/3097...

The first part of our biggest #podcast episode yet just landed. Heather hasn't seen the David Fincher directed 1999 cult classic Fight Club. Listen to part one now; part two drops next week. player.captivate.fm/episode/25d1...

Heather looks fantastic for her age. Check out our podcast including "Heather hasn't seen Groundhog Day", available at www.blindspotsandsecondthoughts.com

What do you call people from Pennsylvania anyway? It's still undecided. Download and listen to our new podcast episode "Heather hasn't seen Groundhog Day" now! player.captivate.fm/episode/3097...

How would you describe the plot of Groundhog Day if you didn't have Groundhog Day to reference?

Our newest podcast episode is now available for download! Heather hasn't seen the classic movie Groundhog Day. Just in time for Groundhog Day! player.captivate.fm/episode/3097...

We are just giving billion dollar movie franchise ideas away for free. Subscribe to Blind Spots & Second Thoughts wherever you get your #podcasts #saw #movies #audiograms #podcastclips

One of the reasons Coming to America works so well is that the character of Akeem is a genuinely good dude. He's a genuinely sweet dude just trying to find love and he's surrounded by insane and funny characters

Honestly, it's crazy the metrics for our audiograms on TikTok vs the rest of the social media sphere. Our exposure and discoverability is so, so much higher there. Losing TikTok as viable competition to Meta and Google would be a huge loss for users, if nothing else.

Heather likes snacks. Give our podcast a listen! #audiogram #podcastclips

I didn't realize this until just now but every time I say our podcast name, I'm channelling @adamsessler.bsky.social doing the old X-Play "three...out of five" pause

We haven't explicitly said this yet, but you can listen to the first part of the podcast if you haven't watched the movie. Everything after the movie clip is spoiler territory. And that goes for all our episodes. Might add that to the podcast description at some point.

Apparently Russell Crowe has two "L"s

Our reach on TikTok is so much better than our reel performance on Meta products. I can't imagine why US billionaires are pushing for TikTok to close.

New podcast episode out! We discuss Shane Black's detective buddy action comedy The Nice Guys, starting Ryan Gosling and Russel Crowe player.captivate.fm/episode/c1cf...

Our next podcast episode premieres in one week! Can you guess what movie we're watching?

I sincerely wish I could ditch Meta for promotion but for building an audience I don't see any other way. I'm staying away from the cesspool that is eX-Twitter, and my reach here is basically non-existent. I need FB and Instagram, and that sucks.

I firmly believe that Napoleon Dynamite is a much much better movie if you frame it as Kip's journey of self-discovery.

Ampersands are very hard to center from a visual weight perspective

The worst thing about this podcast is reserving movies that I want to watch until we can record around watching them. The second worst thing is that we didn't think of this idea sooner and I already showed her a bunch of movies that would have been great for the podcast.

Our first podcast episode is live! Heather hasn't seen Napoleon Dynamite. Check it out wherever you listen to podcasts! youtube.com/shorts/Ir0Pq...

I'm really proud of how well this episode turned out and happy it's finally out there in the ether for people to find. Fun fact: we originally recorded with the working title "Pop Culture Obliviate!" but that didn't sit right...

Here's the trailer for our podcast! You can catch new episodes of Blind Spots & Second Thoughts every other Wednesday youtube.com/shorts/FCdp1...

Happy New Year! The premiere episode of our podcast about movies is now live! Heather hasn't seen Napoleon Dynamite. player.captivate.fm/episode/9a76...

Not enough people have talked about Harry's insanely gorgeous Manhattan apartment he was able to afford in his late 20's/early 30's in When Harry Met Sally

I would argue that Catch Me If You Can is more of a Christmas movie than It's a Wonderful Life.

People sleep on the Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas Special but it's so much fun and just the perfect balance of zany and sweet. Deserves to be in everyone's holiday movie/show rotations.

"Pick the first to launch a podcast," he thought. "How much extra stress could it possibly add to the holiday season?" My entire back is one giant knot

I absolutely hate everything about Meta's social media management tools. It's like they are actively trying to drive people away from using their platform for promotion.

I just discovered @notion.com and I am so giddy at how flexible and powerful this product is

Ugh. Editing a podcast episode now where the sound quality is just way below what I would want. I'm going to do my best to make it sound okay but I'm definitely going to grit my teeth when this episode releases.

If I won the lottery I'd have like 8 different podcasts right now. And still probably 6 listeners lol

They should make a movie or something based on the comic book “Bat Man.” Worth a try?

Canva is somehow both amazingly easy to use and incredibly unintuitive, especially if you've ever used any professional creative apps. You can make so much so quickly, but you have to unlearn what you have learned in an almost frustrating kind of way

I hate Meta and their business/page interfaces so, so much

About to start promotion on social media for the podcast launch...super exciting! I think this account will be used for a lot more casual and behind-the-scenes posts.

Okay but Only Murders in the Building was really good this season. It's really good every season.

Setting up a podcast is a lot harder than I thought it would be. It would be easier if I weren't so particular about aesthetics. The hardest part is just letting the small stuff go so I can actually make progress.

Not much longer now
