As a canonical task in computer vision, denoising images has been practically solved since 2008. Given the quality of real time super resolution rendering (a harder task) since DLSS 2, I'm actually surprised it's taking this long for real time denoising to be in such an effective state.

Rebirth's open world actually runs better, with significantly less traversal stutters, than any other attempted in Unreal Engine. This game is plagued more with microstutters and poor frame pacing.
