I just hosted a disability resource fair for my community and in the room next to us was a republican party meeting….. the irony kills me

Ok that made me laugh

It’s wild to me that you have to explain to people that “refugees” are not illegal immigrants…

I’m on my cycle: reading instagram comments until I crash out, get on Bluesky to detox, go back to instagram comments…

Whatever you identify as you are valid. No matter what anyone says.

Reading through the list of executive order rescissions and in part reading the initial orders made by the Biden administration. One that sticks out: Order 14006 (Reforming Our Incarceration System To Eliminate the Use of Privately Operated Criminal Detention Facilities)

This Cybertruck did not crash. It made a heartfelt and perhaps ill-advised gesture that, in the moment, might have been misinterpreted as a crash, but we should not rush to judgement.

Some of these Instagram comments are deeply concerning 😭

The US government is like Fortnite micro-transactions and Trump just bought the battle pass.

I am soo genuinely confused rn…

want to be excruciatingly clear about this: TikTok didn't have to go dark last night and it didn't have to turn back on this morning. both of those were voluntary moves that the law does not directly touch.

and just like that tiktok is back I guess lol

"Trump saves TikTok" is essentially this.

Strongly recommend this @ezrakleinbot.bsky.social piece. Clearly and correctly explains this frustrating truth about the present moment, I think—why “the election was close, but the vibes have been a rout.” Gift link: www.nytimes.com/2025/01/19/o...

My starting point for future salary negotiations will be "enough to turn evil."

You are showing your entire ass by calling TikTok “a dancing app” in the year 2025

I am: 1. Scared 2. Sad 3. Angry 4. Exhausted And I think most people in the world at this point in time feel the same way I do, for many different reasons.

It is a poor craftsman who blames his healers.

I need all the people who are like “well I guess they’ll just have to read or go outside” to realize that they have the personality of a corporate holiday email.

The TikTok ban feels nothing more than like a stunt. Playing with the livelihoods of 170 million Americans was never the answer. My thoughts in this special, mid-day newsletter. open.substack.com/pub/aaronpar...

Twitter can still be a nice experience on Sunday mornings before the churches let out.

I personally wasn’t a heavy TikTok user but the videos were hilarious and there was a PLETHORA of information on there if you knew how to search. I think it’s disingenuous to say that people shouldn’t be upset about not being able to access that anymore.

you’ve clearly never dropped your juul down a storm drain

where’s my bluesky starter pack?? I typically go ranger with a focus on foraging and alchemy. Literally just in my underwear in the cold rn

Sigh. We tried to warn them.

I liked TikTok because I got to be who I really am in my heart: a creepy little lurker who watches everything and says little.

In 1922 Alfred Stieglitz made a series of photographs of cloudy skies, calling them Equivalents because they matched an emotion or mood he was feeling. This is my Equivalent for today.
