We are supposed to be able to go to our elders for advice, wisdom, support, etc. Now all you get is laughed at and told to work harder.

They balk at the mention of climate change, rising living costs, the rise of fascism etc. It is insane. Maybe their elders did the same but damn. Old people aren’t wise anymore. They’re obstinate and broken.
