Posting this for the benefit of our American 🇺🇸 friends. Slipped on ice and thoroughly buggered my leg. Ambulance to hospital. X-rays showed no break. MRI at 8 am yesterday revealed thigh quad muscle completely torn from knee. Surgery at 9:30 pm, home by 11:30 last night. Total cost to me: $ Zero. 🇨🇦
