While I know All-Star Superman is the usual recommend, for good reason, I will always say Superman For All Seasons is my go to for the character. Tim Sale’s artwork is stellar as always and Jeph Loeb’s writing is superb. A genuine comfort book and essential for anyone interested in Superman
