Poor Gandalf had all his incisors removed yesterday. The painkillers knocked him back so much he wasn’t eating or making it to the litter pan. So back to the vet late today, for different anti inflammatories and now he’s hungry and is more churu than cat.

I don’t view this as the caving option. Caving would have been silence and the secret back door. This exposes the UK’s attempts to back door and its more worrying demands such a back door would be global, enabling the U.S. via five eyes to break American citizens encrypted messages and backups.
