It’s getting testing in VS and Docker desktop.
It’s building to ghcr
It’s being pulled from there to digital ocean.
Using the docker file helps with the expectations of all those layers.

Not sure as yet. To be honest I’m not sure I care, as I can work backwards from the published container to the commit anyway.
