Having a bit of a hard time with the concept that if a guy in a police uniform who has a police vehicle shows up I should lock the doors and call 911, but if a guy in a ski mask with an hGH gut appears to be kidnapping my neighbor, I shouldn’t ask who he is if I don’t want federal charges.

ICE just arrested Brad Lander, the NYC Comptroller and one of the leading candidates for Mayor, without grounds. He was conducting routine immigration court work, escorting individuals from hearings. He asked ICE for their warrant - well within his legal rights. This is political intimidation.

My arm was mauled by Minnie today. She hates the cat carrier and/or the vet and is extremely strong and smart. So she missed her vet appointment this AM and we have a call in for a reschedule and a sedative for her. She's mostly forgiven us and we promised her again that she's our kitty for good

Before the cops in LA started escalating things for no reason it was funny how my main takeaway was how much people were looking out for each other in really helpful ways. I’ve never seen so many people with carts giving away free water, sunscreen, snacks, and masks to total strangers.
