As if to prove the point about it being more difficult, I played the 3rd scenario as Claire & just about made it to the end even with more weapons. Ran out of ammo & had to run away from several nasty encounters.

I think this might be one of my best painted minis. My shaky hands struggled with some fine details but otherwise I think I nailed the colour scheme of RE3R’s Jill!

Turns out the Lisa Trevor boss fight in the #ResidentEvil board game is brutal. It felt too punishing but I did just about scrape through, but one more turn & it would’ve probably been the end of Barry & Jill!

They’re clearly doubling down on the Eternal story stuff & that’s fine, it’s the direction they want to take this reboot series.
I just think it means separating these new games from the originals, as far as Doom Guy/Slayer are concerned.

Decided to have a chilled day & played a second scenario this afternoon. This one introduced Hunters.
On top of that, it turns out Lisa Trevor can also make an appearance if you have bad enough luck with Encounter Card draws! Luckily, the dice were on my side this time…

Played the first scenario in which Lisa Trevor shows up & man, her abilities are brutal. Coupled with bad card luck, poor Barry only just scraped through alive!

I’m almost certainly done with launch consoles, the way pricing is going. Though that’s not why I’m avoiding Switch 2 at launch, that’s purely down to no interesting launch games for me.
