A realistic ending doesn't work in a story where people gain random powers and can become heroes, doesn't work when there's something like "wishing energy and bending fate through will", and it definitely doesn't in a story where the MC wanted to be one of those heroes.

Like. Fuck man, I don't care if Katsuki or Ochako looked badass/melancholic *solely because* that focus was supposed to go to *Izuku himself, the main character*. And he's just. Treated as an afterthought until he barely had thoughts. Doesn't save, doesn't win, doesn't feel a single thing anymore.
