The problem is that fursuiters aren’t the only stakeholders in the parade. It is a PR event for AC and the city. It is a spectator event for normies and furries alike. Its current format serves that function extremely well so I understand the reluctance to change it fundamentally.

It wasn’t a great headset. Worse SOC than Quest 3, not as comfortable as Quest 2 or 3, software support issues, all along with the expensive price tag. I know people who bought it but choose to use a Quest 3 over it.
