This is because he agrees with what this administration is doing. He seems unaffected by how working Alaskans (who rely heavily on federal dollars) will be impacted by these sweeping, unethical (illegal) cuts.

Thanks for posting this. I was just going to do so. He literally said, “I can’t do anything about it,” while saying cuts are necessary. AND, he’s on the DOGE committee. Sad my fellow Alaskans voted him in. 😓

Ask him, how would you like to fight this? Set him up with the 5calls app. Show him how it works to fight back with his voice. Tell him you’ll fight right along side him. If we save our democracy, we’ll talk about why people voted the way they did, and figure out how not to be here again later.

Call and email your representatives as often as you’re able to. Use the 5calls app to find their contact info. Look at the issues and scripts when talking/writing. It doesn’t matter if it won’t change their mind, we need to keep speaking out.

We are in the midst of a massive constitutional crisis. If Trump/Musk win, it's the end of our system as we know it. If the president controls everything, can shut down agencies, fire their staff at will, ignoring Congress, the entire system dies.
