Just 35% of Americans approved of what Musk was doing in the government, according to a poll from April. 57% disapproved, with 46% *strongly* disapproving. If Dems are serious about only supporting ideas that are popular, they would never entertain the idea of allying with a guy who was so hated.

An update on my reporting from March: RAINN has taken a step further and banned resources for trans people and immigrants. Many had defended RAINN, saying they would still serve trans people. Clearly that was wrong. NYTimes did the recent reporting, but did not cite me.
