I agree. But stopping the mullahs has to actually stop them.

You probably need better institutions, as recent economy nobel price winners Acemoğlu, Johnson und Robinson point out. But changing bad institutions is often next to impossible.

Yes, but plan A never works, which leads to plan B, which... It is interesting, but the idea of cooperatives has been around for a while. It might work on the lower levels, here and there, decentralized. In my opinion you need incentive, freedom, safety and then you may call it whatever you want.

You have seen the Oxford learning system, which has an emphasis on personal tutoring in small groups. AI based laziness Would most likely be discovered. Maybe there will be science publishing magazines for "tutored writers" only?

Tell everyone in Russia: "Choose between war and being owned by China." According to earlier surveys, being owned by China, is many Russian's biggest fear.

Wait until some mafia or narco boss sends their thugs dressed like ICE, to commit ANY crime they want, in bright day light, saying "We are ICE, look we take some people, out of the way!" Because they look indistinguishable, and ICE's behaviour got normalized, no one will stop them. Crime will rule.

"For a social network, being prematurely written off is a rite of passage. It’s even a compliment of sorts—a sign that people are paying attention and care. Way back when Twitter was still ascendant [...] cranky users had started predicting its demise less than a year after it launched in 2006."

Also mehr Krieg?

... the chief threat to the consensus between regime and population comes not from the population but from the regime many of whose members want to do things. But if they try to do anything that will require the people to act, they will upset the applecart and threaten their own power." 4/4 #Russia
