...race, makes ALL of Canada hate him, hands a victory to the Liberal party. Was it to keep up the animosity? Keep Canada weak in the short term? What was Trump's play with maintaining the Status quo in Canadian politics?

Was this a last ditch effort to stop the bloodbath on Wall St. this morning? If so, pretty lame.

Has to be a top priority of the GOP to lower the age of consent for girls to 15. He's broken no laws in the eyes of his peers. SMH

He stopped caring about Twitter and Tesla once he made his POTUS purchase. Space X will be raking in billions off government defense contracts and get Elon to Mars by next decade. That was always the plan.

I'm taking the position that the Z meeting is something to celebrate from this standpoint: We have known for years where Trump is on Russia Ukraine. Now the world gets to see it along with the Americans who were clueless on Trump's foreign policy. It can't be all about bread, and eggs anymore.

They didn't think they would have anyone to fear more than Trump. "Trump's old" they thought, "We'll wait him out." Now there's Elon, younger by a mile and a hundred times wealthier than Trump. Elon could support a Dem next and that freaks them out.

They want the power, but only for their party and those politically aligned with them. The thought of giving that same level of power to the other side is abhorrent.

The Tea party did not run a candidate in '08 or '12, but their lack of support for "moderates" McCain and Romney doomed their candidacy. And the party learned who was in charge. Resulted in united efforts the next three pres. cycles.

Probably the best any of them hoped to expect is to not give Gaetz or Gabbard a seat at the table. Everything else will be ceded to Trump.

It is Trump's best interest to have three Super Powers managing the affairs of the world with every other country clinging to the skirts of one of the three. That way he can take credit for the positives, cast blame on the negatives, and rake in money the whole time.

F**k SCOTUS. no matter who was AG, no matter how the case was built, six of them were never going to let Trump get touched.

He bought Twitter to get his choice of POTUS elected. X could be devalued to a penny and Musk comes out making like a bandit.

Whoever thought Elon would stop with the U.S. was a bit naive. He wants to take down the whole western alliance.

Iran did more colluding (on Putin's behalf) with the events of October 7 of last year than with the hostage crisis. There's a place in Hell for Bibi if he had any active or tacit part in how it unfolded, but that day had the desired effect on Biden's presidency. He was a dead man walking afterwards.

I'm a subscriber to our local paper. Seldom read it, but recognize it's importance to the community. I too unsubscribed from WAPO. Maybe I'll pick up another newspaper, or just read my local paper more. Point is, I have not abandoned the format and I believe most liberal readers have not as well.

More than a few MAGA voters aren't naive enough to believe Trump will live forever. Unless they're content with Jr. To take over the movement, Musk could be the one to jump ship to.

Technically, Musk spent 44 billion (Twitter Acquision) plus the 277 million but the point is the same. Many laughed as X's value plummetted but he's come out ahead b/c he knew what many voters in seven states would likely do in Nov. Wait until the next defense budget comes out for Space X.
