The problem is that their foresight does not extend past their denial. Their desire to ignore facts so that they can deny culpability outweighs any feeling of duty to themselves and others. They’re incapable of understanding that it was avoidable, but for the lies they eagerly welcomed.

All bets are off. I feel like we are on the slow, steep climb of a rollercoaster, not quite able to see what is on the other side. But we have seen this happen before, know we have been climbing for awhile and we are really high, and there is no way off but to just stay strapped in and ride it out.
