It’s hard to believe that she’s so dumb that she’s been deceived by several SCOTUS nominees. The whole, “it’s established law” thing, was designed to let her vote against her stated beliefs.

I’m terribly embarrassed to be represented by this guy. (SC resident) But, you don’t need to lower yourself to innuendo regarding his preferences.

He’s falling down that slippery slope reserved for news anchors. He’s made himself the story. Maybe he’ll end up co-anchoring with Cuomo.

If we changed that quote to, “Folks, especially women,” or “Folks, especially blacks,” you’d be screaming about an ism. So, maybe that’s not it.
It is true that the D leadership has been soundly beaten from the White House to local boards of education and needs to be replaced.

It’s time for a personal injury law firm to go after these sites.

Im trying to imagine Martin Luther King making this post. Nah, he wouldn’t. Mandela? Gahndi? Nah. Because they understood that the slightest violence ruins the efforts of all the law abiding protesters.

While we’re being distracted with the events in CA, Washington is being filled with military hardware for a parade. Anybody else wondering if it isn’t a buildup for something more sinister?

The answer to what if it happened here is - they’d blame it on Biden.

Oh. I’m not gonna play that game. I happen to remember that I bought the story that Biden was in good shape. Until the fateful debate of course. Both sides have certain things they believe. Thinking you’re better than your opponents doesn’t help.

If they’re so stupid, what does that make us liberals whom they defeated in the election?

And, isn’t eating the tariff the same as a corporate tax? I’m not against increasing corporate taxes but I thought the Rs were. 🤷🏼♂️

No. You need to be more honest with yourself.

Over the last 10 or 15 years, Ds have lost all 3 branches and many states. This Q is small potatoes compared to the long standing failure of leadership. The party doesn’t have much future until they come up with competent leaders.

You know, I think it’s possible to discuss things without using “ist” labels. Maybe we need a label for finding some form of prejudice in everything.

Hmmm… Interesting wording. The law has been like that for 167 years for all people. If you want to argue that it needs to be amended, that’s up to you.

The Rs are very good at controlling lib dialog. All they have to do is say something nasty about a small minority and the libs drop everything and obediently talk about what the Rs want.

You know, we’ve got an awful lot to worry about with Trump and his minions. We don’t need you posting what amounts to conspiracy theory ravings about an advertisement.

As you know, the “Are you running?” question is one that most journalists can’t resist. Kristen fell back on it. You can always question her choice of questions but, it doesn’t warrant being insulting.

It used to be a typical strategy for a president to slow the economy early in their term, hoping the recovery would improve their re-election chances later.

It’s not gonna help liberals very much until they have some good charismatic leadership and an agenda that will win enough elections.

Think back to when you were a kid. There was always a bully who had a bunch of kids following them to encourage the behavior for their own amusement. He is absolutely playing to his base and exposing his own weaknesses at the same time.

A while back, I argued in a thread that progressives needed to write for a less elite educational level. I was attacked and told that good citizens take the time to look up the big words. Unfortunately, Trump gets how to communicate very well while the progs call him dumb.

I think the problem is that the Ds need to define a base that’s large enough in both electoral and popular votes to win. A list of social causes didn’t cut it.

It’s not surprising that this is being interpreted here in political terms. But, Acosta never belonged in a daytime show. Wrong personality. Give him a Sunday interview show.

For me, it’s a value proposition. Much of CNN’s general news coverage has been replaced by these constant panel discussions. It’s not the same as good worldwide reporting. At the same time, the cost of cable or streamers is rising. I’m better off watching the Today show.

I’m an agnostic and hopefully, am polite to my religious neighbors. The reality is that there are many Christians who think it’s their duty to prothyletize and don’t recognize their rudeness.

I partially agree but, this has to be balanced against:
1. His willingness to take huge casualties is an advantage to him and
2. The war has shown we may have trouble maintaining a supply of sophisticated weapons.

We live in such polarized geographic areas that it’s really hard to see what’s going on overall. You can read about what’s going on but, if you live in a very red or blue area, it just overwhelms you.
