My local city is going to try using the existing Cool Block program to get people to electrify. It’s not an attempt to get the block fully off fossil fuels, but it it will use community to drive geographically concentrated retrofits. coolblock.org collaborate.mountainview.gov/coolblock

So, I can create the perception that war is imminent, simply by ordering 30 pizzas from the Dominoes near the pentagon? I can influence world events for less than $1,500?

I bet fuel costs are only a small fraction of electricity costs. I do know that California's retail rates for natural gas are low, and electricity rates are high. That makes it harder to convince homeowners to switch to a heat pump, as the savings are minimal.

Charger reliably is a top concern for EV drivers, and there is ample evidence that most companies can’t get it right. I doubt New York would award a big highway construction contract to a small firm that had little to no track record.

After 2+ years working on clean air rules for water heaters and furnaces - rules delayed and weakened - So Cal air regulators at SCAQMD fail to pass the amended rules 1111 and 1121. Followed by brief debate about whether they can send it back to committee (again).

Will they move to dismiss the case with Xinis, to avoiding answering those issues? (not a lawyer so this may be a dumb question)
