Apple is far from my favourite company - I hate how closed their ecosystem is. But this is the right decision! If they can get their users to protest the UK government position there is a chance the policy gets reversed.

I oversaw global health programs at @USAID.
They reached 100s of millions of people, added 6 extra years to the lifespan of children in partner countries, and were eradicating health threats worldwide.
What insanity and cruelty to break that.

This doesn't excuse people not voting though. Not only was Harris the lesser evil in regards to the middle east, she was clearly on the side of good in most other areas.

People protest when they think it'll change something. There is a good chance protesting moderated the democrats position, there is no chance protesting this will do anything other than piss Trump off. Better to play to his insecurities instead.

If Trump hadn't won the election I don't think the pardon should have happened. But with the rhetoric coming from Trumps team it seems highly likely things would get a lot worse for Hunter next year. At least this way he isn't starting off with a conviction before he is further persecuted.
