Rodrygo plays left/right wing which would give better cover for Saka than either Martinelli or Nwaneri (at this point in his career.) its no secret that Arteta loves multi-positional players so both players make sense in that regard. I won't complain either way.

Just my own feelings. Eze is a great player, as is Rodrigo, it's just that Rodrigo is a better fit for us if we are considering Eze for lw that is. Eze will not get too many starts at left 8, he's not keeping rice out of the team.

Yea, it's just fans being fans. A lot depends on how fast new players settle in. Injuries can play a part too. Whatever the results, some fans will be happy, others not so and some will just be content.

It's not actually a reply to me. I gave a reason we do not have anyone yet and to be honest I'm not to bothered by what other clubss are doing. We do not rush into signing players early historically I do not know the reason for this. As long as we get the signings we want I am happy.

Liverpool are buying Wirtz from B Leverkusen who are prepared to let their player go in June. We are buying Zubimendi from R Sociadad who want to wait until July for ffp reasons. Other than that I have no idea why we tend to be slow off the mark with our transfers.

Pepe was a Raul Sanllehi signing, arguably the most corrupt arsenal employee on record. Of course it is better to get get your targets early but the main thing is to get the targets you want. As I previously stated, the first week of the tw is not the time to panic over it. See where we are end July

Ok but it isn't always as simple as football manager makes it appear. Zubimendi is coming but his club wants to wait until July to finalize the deal for ffp reasons. If we go into august without a new signing I will have sympathy for the complaints for the complaints but not after 1 week of the two.
