My H.S. debate coach (someone with a chronic disease that was understood even less then than it is now) drilled this into my brain in the 90’s, and it’s never left. This is so OBVIOUSLY something that should be done.

For me, there were some things that she articulated so, so well. It gave me a bit of a new lens and vocabulary to think about things I feel.
Also: I am a perimenopausal white lady. And basically the only thing I’ve learned about this process so far is that it’s totally different for everyone!🫠😂😭
