Liesyl Franz, a U.S. cybersecurity official, recently spoke at the UN about global cyber threats. She mentioned China and Iran but not Russia—marking a major shift from previous U.S. positions.

Russia’s cyber threat is real. Dozens of state-sponsored hacker groups target U.S. government, infrastructure, and businesses, aiming to steal data and maintain long-term access to critical systems.

“Vance, who brought his family to Sugarbush Resort, Vt., was greeted by a 1/2 mile gauntlet of protesters holding pro-Ukraine signs Saturday. There appeared to be hundreds in the crowd, calling Vance "Nazi scum," accusing him of being a "traitor" and telling him to "go ski in Russia.” Fox online.

But even if every federal worker were fired, it wouldn’t make a dent in the massive deficit increase Trump is proposing. The total federal employee payroll amounts to $271 billion—nowhere near enough to offset the trillions being added to the debt. So what’s the purpose here?

The problem with starlink is security. Musk owns it and apparently thinks nothing about tapping into the data stream if it suits him. He did it in Ukraine and gave the information to Russia.
