Ooh- whats the wine tonight? đŸ„‚

I went to use the app yesterday and guess whose ad came up and covered the entire screen? 😳 (Google). I was like “nooooo leave me alone!”

Thanks for all that. I was actually thinking of things like meat and fish and preventing freezer burn but I failed to be specific. At least there is Pyrex etc for wide items. Those silicone bags, sadly, tear apart at their ends and in my experience.

And before and after transport, there is plastic storage. Before your fave local eco refill shop puts their soap or oil in a big glass jar, they most likely get the bulk amount delivered in a large plastic bin! I hate how pervasive this is. And did yall read about black plastic cooking utensils?

Do you know what your friend uses to wrap or hold the food with, for freezing? I look at my freezer and its all plastic. I’d be happy to use something else.

I am enjoying seeing people delete Google maps for a little flashback time with @mapquest.com

And prob. tech boycotts at this point. (I read advice that it will only work if we can hold out for at least a full Quarter, in order to affect their stock value).

I love so many Mexican beers, and sadly, keeping up w/ beer news taught me about how Mexico allows the sale of a water supply from drought-stricken and struggling citizens, in order to make these beers.

How is this a ceasefire?!

Thats what I was wondering!

Cute. Reminds me 90’s era Honda Civic hatchbacks, which are still cool to see when someone has kept one alive.

I don’t know if I made a good decision yet, but I lowered my paycheck tax withholding amt via my employer’s payroll app. I did it so less of my expected 2025 tax refund is locked up to never be seen again due to the current conditions. I might adjust it even further if there is no course correction

Why does it look like someone’s cousin made this a side project at the chop shop?
comment in response to post
I heard you can circumvent this if you don’t have insurance and pay for it out of pocket. I had to ditch insurance to get better prices on somethings. Wild huh?

What?! Kamala would have allowed it to happen too, via complicity, and probably at a slower pace so it would all snowball after she left office.

So, he’s now a corporate sugarbaby. Interesting.

Chill yall, you can work on more than one thing at a time, especially when you have an office of assistants to delegate duties to.

Thanks for considering it! 😊

New Deal Vodka, and we are distributed pretty well along the West Coast. Lots of Seattle folks pick it up (tax free) at our distillery tasting room. @newdealdistillery.bsky.social

I work for a Portland distillery that makes a vodka from winter wheat, just like GG.
comment in response to post
How about trying a local vodka? Almost every American state has one if not more distilleries who make vodka. I work for @newdealdistillery.bsky.social in Portland, we have four (3 made with corn, one made with wheat). I could go on about wonderful American spirits

comment in response to post
Chances are, you have a local equivalent of vodka made from corn, priced at $19.95, made the same if not better.

This is so f’ed, I lowered my tax withholding on my paychecks yesterday in the event that future tax refunds are in danger.
