The land is being covered by a thin white veil. I'm standing in wait for the bus. Information has been unclear on how I'm supposed to get to my destination, so I ask the bus driver. "Is this bus going to Rosendal?", I ask. He gives me what I think is a nod, unsure, but I decide to hop on anyway.

The skin shudders as a winter breeze washes over me. Busy people are going places and youths are taking their time, chatting gleefully about the latest music and videos on tiktok. But I slow down for a moment, and read, before I also find myself hurrying somewhere. How I long for the sun.

I find myself in the coffee shop next to my favorite bookshop. I walked in, ordered my latte and sat down. Low pop music is playing in the background. The subtle sound of gitarr strings. By the window a person is working on their laptop, a pomeranian by their side. It's a calm Wednesday afternoon.

Google Calendar has removed key cultural events from their site including: • Pride Month • Black History Month • Holocaust Remembrance Day • Jewish Heritage • Hispanic Heritage • Indigenous People Month

Her hands delicately pours the filtered coffee into the cup. Her eyes reflect an age gone by and I thank her with a smile and take my seat inside the coffee shop. Outside the glassed walls people are walking to their destinations clothed in their winter wear. No snow. But it is cold.

At home with a cold. Oh well... Good thing there's no work today.

Been starting to read the Library of the Dead by T.L. Huchu and so far I really love it. It's such a vibe. The kind of vibe that suits my personality. Set in a dark and gloomy Edinburgh with a pretty sassy MC who just wants to survive another day. #booksky #reading #tlhuchu #thelibraryofthedead

January is a mysterious month. What stories lies beyond this gate? What memories can it share? Much has happened in the surrounding landscape. Buildings has been built and others have been demolished to make way for newer things. #photography #winterinjanuary #wintermystery #Sweden

I'm no winter lover. But I will admit that sometimes it's a beautiful sight. #winterambiance #photography #winterinjanuary #Sweden

Horrified is in my top 10 best boardgames so far. Good start of my boardgaming year. And even better with great company. Recommend! #boardgames #greatboardgamerecs

Agreed.

Yes. This. It's not required that all games need to be difficult to be good. I think we need to look at games as things to be enjoyed no matter the skill level. As long as it's enjoyable, then that's all good.

Everyone deserves to have a place where you feel like you're in an episode of Cheers. I visit my local coffee shop by the train station and it's always great to meet the staff there. They know me well at this point. #whereeverybodyknowsyourname #coffee #firstcoffeeoftheday

Read. Read books. Reading books is resistance. Buy. Buy books. Buying books is resistance. Share. Share books. Sharing books is resistance. Celebrate Celebrate books. Celebrating books is resistance.

Oh yeah. Definitely. Always.

Libraries are dangerous! I tell myself not to borrow anymore books, as I already have a pretty tall TBR, but I borrow more anyway. This, coming from someone who works there. #libraries #librarysky #booksky

Well. Hello there. Work over. Now let's start thinking about the weekend plans. First, I play some games. #weekendishere #gamingfriday #games #workdaysover
