A."Frauding" is not a word. B. If there were people receiving coverage who do not qualify, legislation would not be necessary. They want to cancel benefits for people who are currently eligible.

Australian journalist here. Let me be blunt. Most of my American counterparts are failing. Badly. They just nod and move on to the next question when Trump or his minions blatantly lie. When Aussie journos interview US politicians, we're direct and call them out on their bullshit. Do better.

I was on my own until my late 30's & absolutely fine. I traveled a LOT for work & was a little jealous of the guys I worked with who had wives to take care of things on the home front. I also love living with my hubs, but if I outlive him, I will not be interested in anyone else sharing my space.

She thinks it funny? She thinks sarcasm is what we look for in our senators? Particularly when it's combined with religion.

That's a HUGE lie! And OMG-"heroic" to take away food & health care from folks in poverty to pay for more tax cuts for the rich????!!!!

Believing tax cuts always pay for themselves is like thinking your ex will change this time. Economists have studied it. They won’t.

Johnson doesn’t need facts. He’s got strong anti-poor instincts and a gut full of tax-cut protein powder.

My decision to stop shopping at Target is political. My long policy of not using Home Depot is based on them trying to cheat my then 80-something parent. I haven't shopped Walmart or Amazon in years based on my personal experience of their business practices when I worked in trade publishing.

Sometimes the appropriate response to a clueless remark is patronizing.

He is handling a very difficult health challenge with grace, still contributing to the world in several ways and as you will hopefully learn, those of us who get old are lucky & most of us know it.

As long as corruption & cowardice permeates the Republican Party impeachment has zero chance of removing this scourge. I hope that filing articles of impeachment creates a historical record of his illegal acts & GOP corruption. Americans must vote for ethical government in 2026.

Give a billionaire $10M and he will store that in an HFT hedge fund. That does not create new jobs, the only GDP bump is from trading activity. Give a middle-class or poor person $10K and it will ALL go right back into the economy.

I love that he is referring to them as creatures. Seems monster adjacent....

I haven't purchased anything from Walmart or Amazon for years based on my experience working for one of their vendors. Target was our source of household basics. My last purchase was 1/2/25. I'll return if they stop bending the knee to Il Duce Arancia.

The law isn’t real. Only power is real. And money I guess. So says the Supreme Court, 2025.
