It’s literally based on real life politics

Explain to me how he did anything to deserve being enslaved by his girlfriend and almost killed and have his heart taken away and his body permanently transformed.

Idgaf if you’re black, you’re still a weirdo. You said “they deserve each other” about a slave x slage owner/dictator relationship because “they’re both bad!!!” Explain to me, kala, how he deserves that.

Especially saying “they deserve each other because they’re both bad!!” About an abusive slavexslave owner couple

It’s not dedicated to him, he just so happens to be a character I like. You know what’s weird? Saying what you said.

Last time I checked slavery is bad

“Nooo don’t hate on the dictator, slave owner and abuser 😢 hate on her slave boyfriend instead!!!”

Explain to me how anything he did is worse than literal slavery.

Ah yes there’s too much hate for the literal dictator and slave owner and not enough for her victim who lied to her once

No he’s just happy because he loves his gf

Plus he’s based on a very minor character from the original novels who wears a skirt soooooo

And out of character as well considering it’s specifically gone against his canon beliefs.

If anything, given what he’s meant to represent because wicked is a POLITICAL METAPHOR, I think it might even be a little offensive.

He’s also metaphor for victims of dictatorship so the point itself completely ignores the point of the play. Not to mention a century of queercoding won’t go away just because you headcannon him as homophobic.

Also, I’m pretty sure just because it’s a different universe doesn’t erase both his queer coding and his political views just because of your headcannons. Also, he’s a literal slavery victim.
comment in response to post
You mean the movie where his fate is literally to become one of the most queercoded characters in classic literature?
comment in response to post
I hate that this fandom doesn’t take victims of domestic abuse and literal slavery seriously.

Why do you hate Boq?
