And finally, his possession-related metrics are also quite breathtaking. Progressive carries, touches inside the box, xT received in final 3rd, carries length, long passes %, passes to final 3rd - he belongs to the top 20 percentile! πŸ‘

According to our calculation, Kvara creates the 4th most xT among the wingers in the Serie A this season. It's also important to note that he is by far the best winger in terms of xT via carries. πŸ‘‡

His advanced attacking numbers (percentiles, within the league) below are world-class too: shots, through passes, xA, assists, big chances created, dribbles, npxG, passes to box & shot assists - there are not many better players than Kvaradona! πŸ’ͺ

Based on his xG-weighted shot map we can see that he likes to take many long-range shots but he's very active from inside the box as well. The left half-space is his favourite area - if the opposition doesn't put pressure on him, he can create threat immediately. 🎯

As his xT heatmap indicates, he creates the most threat from the left wing and from the left half-space. He can use his left or right foot equally well, that's why he's so unpredictable and so dangerous in 1v1 situations and in quick counter-attacks. πŸ‘Š

Analysing his pizza chart this season in the Serie A, he's among the very best wingers in all of these categories: box/final 3rd/possession involvement, carry, creating & shot volume. He can deliver top line-breaking passes, create chances and finish the attacks as well! πŸ’ͺ

Last but not least, I have to mention his intelligent positioning and OOP workrate. When Tottenham had the ball, Szoboszlai's main task was to aggresively man-mark Bissouma all over the pitch, which he perfectly implemented! πŸ‘

Without any question, he was excellent on the ball but his out-of-possession workrate deserves every credit as well. Only Macca and TAA had more defensive actions vs TOT than Szoboszlai. His energy, stamina and discipline is key in Slot's system. πŸ›‘οΈ

Beside his goal and assist, he completed 37/42 passes (88% accuracy), had 6 shots, created 0.52 xA, had 66 touches (13 inside the box) and won 6/10 of his duels. His overall performance was so mature and so complex. 🫢

As Liverpool's No. 10, he plays further up the pitch this season under Slot. Szoboszlai's Expected Threat heatmap vs Spurs shows that he created the most threat from the Zone 14 and from the central areas inside the box. What az amazing game he's had! πŸ”₯

As the scene below indicates, his decision-making in the final 3rd certainly improved a lot this season. He received a well-timed pass from Gakpo, controlled it fantastically and assisted Salah inside the penalty area. πŸ‘οΈ

Salah carried the ball away and layed it down to Szoboszlai who scored a well deserved goal. It took just 7 seconds after the header to arrive into the box and finish calmly this sublime counter-attack. πŸ’ͺ

He was very much involved in almost every Liverpool attack. This time, TAA delivered a pass to him around the half-way line. Szoboszlai won his aerial duel vs DrΔƒguΘ™in and flicked the ball to Salah behind TOT's high defensive line. πŸ‘‡

As the scene above shows, he often positioned himself between TOT's lines & tried to manipulate their defence. Gomez found him with a top line-breaking pass: #Szoboszlai could pick up the ball, turn & pass it to DΓaz on the left. Some secs later, Macca scored LFC's 2nd goal. πŸ‘
