I was on a training course in Swindon and sat eating breakfast in a budget hotel watching the match - that day was the longest training event I’ve ever been on 😣

I first saw Jaws when I was 6 or 7 and this scene is burned into my mind. If I close my eyes I can still see myself sat on my Mum & Dad’s bed with them (it was the 80’s age rating on films didn’t matter 😆) eating prawn crackers, I literally left the bed vertically! Still my favourite film

Hardly a ringing endorsement, especially given there was a promotion in there for Edwards - I just don’t see it as an upgrade on Carrick, at least he had the pulling power from his playing career

Simple answer is he’s the cheap option who needs us more than we need him, therefore a “yes man” Kieran Scott is very much putting his neck on the block with this appointment.
