Not for me, as boring as it is, a tad more pragmatism is called for I think, therefore a defender who can actually defend first and foremost should be prioritised first. Neither will happen though.

We're just not good enough to be a top 2 side, that much is as clear as it can be, it's not hyperbole or entering meltdown territory to suggest so either.
People seem to be a bit too defensive when it comes to their stance on where we will finish predictions at the start of the season it seems.

2 different groups of crackheads fighting in the first 10 minutes, that's an official away day record for me! Gwan Burnely 🤦🏽♂️😂😫

"All fur coat and no knickers", also springs to mind.

Ah thanks James, that's very kind, I will have to let you know!
I was going to say, it seems a bit hit and miss with Acun recently, but the pricing is definitely to be commended, something we've not gotten right at all... although we do see a few more goals!

Fantastic pricing by #HCAFC, I mean weirdly it's annoying as it means we're even less likely to get some, but still, fair play 👏🏼

Indeed, I wouldn't normally pick to go there given the choice, it's more sentimental than anything.

Newcastle away, purely for convenience and how much my son would be excited for it.

A campervan cruise to Cornwall, with a Devonshire dash in the depths of December?
Hmm tempting

I think there's a general level of apathy across the game right now tbh. I live in North Tyneside and even this lot are saying how bad their atmosphere is recently, and you know that's something coming from that lot!
I don't think Carricks football helps either, as good as it can be, dare I say it.

I sit in the East Stand so don't really notice much of a difference re the atmosphere from game to game, The Riverside is not a very atmospheric ground unless you're in amongst the noisier sections or its a huge game with some significance.

6. Form? Doesn't quire relate when you consider our record at the Riverside, home form has been really poor and the game last night felt very inevitable.

I'm not having Borges Paul, he doesn't know the first thing about defending and its going to cost us.
He definitely wasn't helped by Hamilton or Barlaser though.

Every bit the player I thought he was going to be right away, given he'd played about 5 minutes of professional football before.
Still think he'll come good, he needs to decide what type of footballer he's going to be, as you get the impression everyone involved is still rather a bit unsure.

They've got a load of injuries in fairness, including two of their better players. As I always say, if you can't win, don't get beat. They'll be right up there come the end.

Conditions and an opposition intent on playing GBH football taking its toll, but fair play, dragged themselves up and kicked on tremendously.
Thank the deities old and new for Ben Doak... and Finn Zidane 👌🏼

3 games in 8 days is always tough, regardless of opposition.
If we come away from the next 5 with 10 points or more I'll be happy.
2ppg can't be sniffed at, especially as we've not hit that level of form (over 6 games or more) yet this season.
