I had to wake up at 4 am when I worked at the medical examiner's office. I did that for two-ish years and could not stop waking up at 4 am after I quit. Now I'm *that* morning person.

I'm so tired of the Chiefs. 😞

I appreciate the clarification. The combo sounds dangerous. 😂

Watching Simone build a skateboard for her three-legged dog is the wholesome content my brain needs this morning. youtu.be/N1eo5bXtZeM?...

I heard that Ben Stiller and Adam Scott have a Severance podcast. I might check that out. Let know if you find a good recap video in the meantime.

That really sucks. I'm sorry.

Of course! But I definitely need a refresher. I forgot more details than I realized.

Good! And hopefully they have early bed times.

That sounds like a nightmare. The hotel full of kids is the nightmare, not your decision.

I miss Google Reader and keeping up with the Chicago and 20-something bloggers!

I appreciate the humor she brings to each topic, no matter how dark. I haven't read her last two books (yet) but Stiff and Spook (which I think has been renamed) are my favorites.

This book changed my life! After reading it, I went back to school and entered the medical field after years of working on marketing. Now I teach future x-ray technologists and I love my job. Best decision I've ever made.

Just reading that will get it stuck in my head. I can hear it now...

I've used Moleskine for the last six years as a teacher. I like having a weekly calendar on one page and empty space on the next for to-do lists. I can't switch it up now. I'm a creature of habit who feels too strongly about planners.

Moleskine XL weekly planner soft cover. I used Erin Condren planners for a long time, but I needed something sleeker.

My planner took forever to arrive! It also didn't help that I originally, accidentally, ordered a 2024 planner. 🤦‍♀️ I reordered before Christmas and the 2025 just arrived yesterday.

I do this all the time. Not just with responses but posts as well.

I wonder if my students are doing the same thing. I hope not because I haven't finished building the courses and have zero motivation to do so!

Very cute!

I like chirp more than skeet. An unpopular opinion, I'm sure.

I'm sorry! I hope you feel better soon

It's off-putting. Follow me if you want. Don't expect me to work for or re-earn your attention.

At least it's not being served on fiesta ware and uranium glass? Just trying to find the radioactive lining. 😉

We're on holiday rules. Whiskey for breakfast, cake for dinner, and no judgment.

I used to feel guilty about not reading more. Like you, I spend a lot of time reading textbooks or books about what I teach. I finally carved out time to read something not work related. I managed to read four books this year!

It seems we forgive a lot of things that shouldn't be forgiven. Outrage lasts maybe a week or two before the next asinine thing comes along to distract us from the previous one.

I ended up leaving. Still no acknowledgement from the person I was supposed to meet.

Wow! That's a good find. Stick with that dentist!
